V-100 is it right tool for me?

I need mobile device as I use my laptop more than my outdated PC. Also I need record from my amp (amp-mic-> computer) + I'm using Line 6 X3 extensively as well for my bass/guitar and might use it for vocals.

so is v-100 is right tool for me?

I'm going to use Sonar VS. Can I upgrade to Sonar 8.5 from VS?

Thanks,
Alex

If you need a mobile audio interface with six analog inputs (two mic pres) then the VS-100 is a great solution. You can DI your guitar/ bass or you can use your X3 as the front end for your guitar or bass and run that into one of the VS-100's line inputs.

And yes, you can upgrade from SONAR VS to SONAR 8.5 and everything will work, including the control surface.

Ok. I'm ready to buy this device.

    The last question I have:
Is it going to work with Windows 7 x64?

    thanks
