V-700C control surface with Studio Capture

Hey guys, I'm making a switch from my VS700R interfaces to a Roland Studio Capture and wondered how I should hook up my VS700C control surface to control some basic stuff on my Studio Capture. I remember a couple of you guys on here were using the same set up. My old connection was a special cable from the 700C to the first 700R, but obviously, the Studio Capture doesn't have that, so I'm assuming maybe it's going to hook up via USB now? I understand it won't fully control the Studio Capture like it did the 700Rs, but even basic fader control would be helpful. Should I uninstall the VS700C driver before I try to set up the Studio Capture and then install the 700C driver back?

I use a setup like this. Just use the VS-700C driver (VS-700C connected via USB) and studio capture drivers (also connected via USB) and all works great. Nothing special to do.

    Hey Brandon,

Good to see you hear again.  So, the big question ... Are you going to be upgrading to Win10 with the VS-700C?  Sorry, had to ask.

    Cheers,

    Hi Brandon.

Audiodog;   Just seen your post.  Here is the official Roland Paper on using the 100 or 700 with an Octa Capture or Studio Capture.  Hope this helps.
