VC-64 and V-Vocal

Please can anyone help.I have tried to open an old project (both on Bandlab and Platinum) and the above are showing as missing. Therefore Im not getting any sound coming from those clips. Is there anyway i can get these clips back,or at least sound so i can edit again in Melodyne?

Many Thanks

Have you done a recent re-install of splat, because both are very old plugs and have not been included with Splat since at least version 1 off the top of my head. My advice would be, go back to splat installer one and re-install these plugs as a standalone install. Hopefully that makes sense.

I believe Sonar X2 was the last version to include V-Vocal.

Thanks Ben.I have noticed that if i drag original clip onto new track,it becomes the unprocessed clip. Then i can use Melodyne to edit instead.'Result'

This is correct. It was also the last version to include VC-64. V-Vocal is unusual in that it is part of the core SONAR install. Instead of being listed separate in the advance install component list, it is part of a minimal installation only. Probably because it was not treated as a regular plug-in by the program. Here is what the advanced install for V-Vocal looks like in X2

VC-64 is further down the list of Audio Plugins shown in the image and may be installed by itself using the advanced install option in X2 or older.

Remember also that VC64 is 32 bit and you may have to update your vst scan path.
