VERY Slow "Bounce To Clip" rendering

using a right click 'bounce to clip' approach to rendering an audio clip, sometimes, approx 1/3 of the time the bounce is VERY slow. A progress bar for the bounce appears in the blue window of the transport bar. The bounce for a clip only several seconds of playing time long may take 3-4 minutes. I have looked at the rendering options in the audiosnap controls and understand that an radiusadvancedmix can take significantly longer, but I haven't experienced this behaviour before(using Sonar since PE6).

Any insight? Anyone?

Go into "preferences"  under the Edit tab. Look for "Configuration File" and change the BounceBufSizeMsec to a higher value. It probably is at the default which is "0"...set it to "100" or something else.
