VG99 and pcr800 conflict?

I am hoping to find someone who is using rolands vg99 and a pcr800 on the same system. I am unable to use both the vg99 and pcr at the same time. While using sonar8 the PCR works fine but once the vg99 is conected the PCR wont work. Both devices are USB and this does seem like a driver conflict.
Anyone with the same issue and/or a good solution/workaround?
Running Windows XP.
