VIDEO: Josie Charlwood, new acoustic song using TC-Helicon VoiceLive2
Greetings fellow Sonar users! Although this is slightly off-topic as it’s live, I thought you might be interested to see this video of my daughter performing an acoustic song using the TC-Helicon VoiceLive2 for vocal processing and some harmonies: http://www.youtube.com/user/BehindThoseEyes13#p/a/u/0/3klDS-6I7DE This was a very simple setup with a Shure SM58beta and Josie’s Yamaha APX700 guitar connected directly to the VoiceLive2. The output was routed through our Genelec 80-30 studio monitors and the sound you can hear is live as it was recorded on the camera. Josie is kicking in the harmonies from the VoiceLive2 footswitch. We love the VoiceLive2 and will never leave home (for a gig) without it. It’s also our ‘go to’ vocal processor in the studio where using Sonar we record a raw vocal track and then a midi control track for fine control of the VoiceLive2 processing from Sonar. I do hope this is helpful and that you enjoy the song. Kind regards,

Your daughter is over the top talented. I went on and listened to 2 other video's posted. "My Life" was espesially good. Encourage her to stay with it. This is in a style that my daughter of 19 loves.

Vocal and guitar playing are good in this acoustic set. Harmony is lovely. Filming from several different angles might add interest, break things up for the visual effect.

Hey! This is great! Lovely song, lovely girl, brilliant voice and excellent playing! She'll give the current crop of female singer/songwriters some serious competition for sure! The Voice Live is used great. I was expecting a lot of it, but it's modest presence was a great use of it IMHO. And this is a perfect tune to use it on. Kudos to your daughter. She's very talented and I'm hoping to hear more of her music in the future.
