VIDEO in Windows 64 bit

I got this from the list of enhancements from Studio One 2.5 Version, which will be released in a couple of days:

QuickTime video import and playback supported in Windows 64-bit version

So it IS possible!!!

    Cubase as well.

But you can play back QuickTime in Sonar X1/2, but you do not get thumbnail view.
There is a post somewhere on here regarding downloading the codecs needed.

This is what I found in the documentation.

Well I´m keeping Cubase for that exact same reason, but people here in the forum were discussing it and some said that it has nothing to do with Cubase, but with the Codecs installed on your machine,

So now the proof is in the pudding. A DAW can make it possible inside to play a quicktime..

When opening a video file [Sonar] ticking import QuickTime - It will not import.
However if you tick all/any file it will then import QuickTime into Sonar. [But not with thumbnails]
    And it works just fine.
