comes shipped on a usb flash drive.  20gb, should be a download option.

$250 for a drum Kontakt sample library?

seems a bit out of trouch with the times.  maybe I'm just getting jaded in my old age.

    THAT is the INTRO price...

Which means it's going up from that...

These better be the BEST DRUMS IN HISTORY for that price...

    Let alone FULL price!  LOL

Ya, sorry, but for that much I'd say spend the extra on BFD3. BFD3 is better, I've never heard VI Elements, but I know this to be the cause since BFD3 is the pinnacle of human civilization :D.

Yes, I really do love that drumkit :).

I'm completely with you on that Sy....to me....BFD 3 now rules the roost...

The others had better make some quantum leaps in the next iteration...

They do sound pretty good. The price is more a reflection of Native Instruments' predatory licensing than the arrogance of the vi-elements developers. The product would probably be very successful if it went for $99 and required full Kontakt.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

NI can't be charging all that much for player, can they? I mean I've bought $99 libraries that use Kontakt Player.

They sound good, but I don't hear anything special that I can't get out of SSD4 or other Kontakt-based drum libraries. $250 is pretty steep for a single kit.

NI charge a boatload for the player... and their communication is almost non-existent.
If it were affordable, I'd would have licensed it for our drum sample libraries.
I'd love some legit/serious competition for NI.
