VS 700 & Octa Capture SOLVED

Hi folks;
Well I successfully installed my new VS 700 system, and X1b , but now I am stumped and frustrated.
For the life of me, I cannot get the new Octa Capture to be recognized syncing up with the VS 700.

I have updated all firmware and drivers on the VS 700 system, and followed the instructions to the"T" for hooking the 2 units up.
But still the "VS EXPAND" is grayed out in the VS 700 control panel screen.
I have tried many times, using different USB ports, still no luck.

Has anyone out there been able to succesfully sync the 2 units up?

Thanks everyone.

solved:
Make sure to have the driver CD in the computer when you get to step 7 of the pdf from the Roland site about syncing the 2 units.
It fails to mention that in the detailed steps, but says the driver will install aytomatically if you are using Windows 7.
I probably should have known that, I was just to consumed with making sure I followed the steps exactly.
Thanks!

Did you look over at HarmonyCentral ProReview section.

In Anderton's post, he only refers to coming across a pdf outlining the syncing.
I have also downloaded that instruction set.

It says that if using Windows 7, the driver will install automatically when you connect the Octa Capture.
After following the 8 steps of connecting the 2 units, nothing happens, nor do I see a change in the VS700 control.

Just a thought but you did do the firmware/updates etc a while back for the VS-700? It might be worth checking that out as I remember it had something to do with intigration with the Octo-capture
