VS 700 deal at Sweetwater
With Cakewalk being bought by Gibson, it's probably safe to assume the Roland control surfaces will not receive any updating. With that said, for 1500 bucks new, it looks appealing. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/VStudio700B/

It's still a great surface to work with ... and for that price I'd buy it again ...

I bit.........arriving Wednesday! It also comes with X3 Producer. Now i'm really glad I didnt jump on the upgrade deal. Every now and then things always seem to work out. Thanks for the heads up Mike.

They say it's "B" stock. I hope I don't get something beat up. Usually something refurbished is as good as new. Fingers crossed. Plus it has a two year warranty so Sweetwater adds a lot of confidence to my purchase.

Very pleased with this product. "B" stock had me worried but it is pretty much brand new with a tiny scratch on the silver area just above the led display that was touched up in the factory. ( not even noticeable) Im a happy camper.

Not bad. You just need to closely follow the instruction of every drive install and update. Every one is dealt with differently. I'm still trying to work out the Fantom vs issues I'm having.
