VS100 EQ/Comp. Is this normal ?

Just bought the VS100 and have to day I'm really pleased with it. I'm using it with Sonar X2 Producer with great results. However, I've found I have to disable ACT if I want to use the onboard eq/comp. It's no big deal, I can simply set them up first and just swith ACT on afterwards, and it doesn't detract from the fact that this is a great bit of kit. Just a little niggle that's all, and I was wondering if this was normal or not?

Yes - this is very normal. The ACT button routes the knobs to "ACT" which can be used to control certain things in Sonar. When ACT is disengaged the knobs simply control the VS-100 itself.
