I'm not 100% sure what you are asking

1: Are you trying to get the Computers Audio to play back through the device? (2nd posts suggests this)
    or
2: Do you have that working - but can't get the EQ to work from the primary out?  (1st post suggests this)
    or
    3: Something else?

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

yeah, since laptop's audio and speakers suck so when playing music I'd like to use VS100 as an output audio device
but would be nice to be able to use also on board EQ. I think though EQ is only routed for inputs signals...

I believe your are right in that the EQ is only routed for input.

Usually it is best to keep the normal windows sound(s) separate from your DAWS audio device, but I get what you are saying about a laptops sound. Keep in mind that the speakers on the laptop are the biggest limitation - more than the on board sound itself.

Why don't you route the line out (or headphone out) of the laptop to a pair of inputs on the VS-100 (should require a stereo mini to a pair of RCA's)? Since the audio is now running to an input - it can go through the EQ section, and now you can send the sound to a better set of speakers.

On my desktop I route my Windows Audio Card (AP 24/96) to line 5/6 on the VS-100 this way and it works great. It keeps my Windows Audio separate from my DAW Audio, but I have full control over both on the one unit. (Playback controls my DAW volume, Input 5/6 > Mains controls my Windows Audio volume)

hey, that's really good idea, headphones output are almost useless for me right now so it can be connected all the time
to VS100. I am running also my digital piano through VS100 to pair of my yamaha active speakers. With this separation I don't know because somehow windows audio is stopped anyway when I use VS100 on USB port.
