VS-20 with Garageband (Mac)

Searched for answers, and come up with nothing so far.
 
I've installed my V-STUDIO 20 to use with Garageband on a MacBook.
 
Everything has installed, up to the point I want to use the VS-20's Transport Controls.
 
Instead of working like they should it works as a MIDI keyboard, all the buttons correspond to notes.
 
Any ideas? Thanks
