VS-700 C and language ?

Hi,

I have a VS-700 C and I use it with Sonar in french. Unfortunatly, special characters as é, è etc... are not displayed. There is a * instead.

Is it possible to have an update to fix it ?

Thanks.

Good point I have the same issue here (like everyone using Sonar in french).

Track name can be re-wrote manually but some parameters like some Act are default using not recognised french caracters .

    Bump

I'm sure it's not a big deal to fix it and it would be cool to have an answer. More, there is not  only France that has special characters.

I've always avoided special characters, would still be nice though. At least a short comment on the issue.

    Same problem here.
I use Sonar in english, but I still would like to be able to name channels and busses in Swedish (with our special letters å ä ö Å Ä Ö) without getting the * on the 700c-display

I understand that X2 is a higher priority than VS700. But why chime in here: http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2676086 and not at all at the VS700 forum?
