VST Adapter Issue

I've started collecting some free VSTs, and loaded them into the Adapter... that didn't give me any issues.

When I entered Sonar I opened up a song to test out some of the VSTs. When I tried to audition or process an audio track, it quickly built to distortion and white noise, no matter what the plugin was. A reverb generated the white noise, a delay started a distorted feedback loop (even with the feedback control turned way back). Only a distortion plugin had a desired effect, but even in that there was the distortion prevalent in the VSTs. Do I perhaps need to reinstall VST Adapter or the plugins?

I'm stumped. I haven't ever experienced anything like that. But hopefully this will bump you back up where more folks might see it. Good luck!

Haven't had that happen, just have a problem getting Sonar to read more VSTs. Wizard and DirectiXer makes it go to blue screen error

Does it happen with DX plugs?

No, all of the DX plugs work fine, it's just the VST. I know it's not the VSTs themselves, because none of them work, free or paid for.

I'm hoping some of my Sonar settings are just off, or maybe that I need to reinstall the adapter.
