VST Browser Naming

I'd like to be able to change the names of the VST plugins in the browser - such as the way you can rename tracks or synths in the synth browser. The VST manufacturers either have ridiculous names or totally non-intuitive names. What would also be nice is a user defined pop-up tooltip for additional information on the plugin.

You can already - use the Plug In Manager.

Doesn't work for at least some DirectX effects because of registry permissions though.

Ditto on the Plugin Manager.  I've had to change several "SynthEdit - Container" plugins to their real names.
