VST Plugin - Default Preset?

One thing that I had been interested in long time ago, but I could not find an answer, is:

In the Plug-in Manager you can open a "Properties" dialog window to a plugin in your layout on the right side. In this dialog window you can choose the "Default Preset". I have only found DirectX plugins that support a list of presets to choose from. Is there a way to define a preset list for Vst plugins, too? I could not find any information about this in the Sonar help!

VST plug-ins have several ways to manage presets. Most have a preset manager built into the plug-in. SONAR provides a drop down in the center of the standard header that has options to open individual presets and banks of presets from the hard drive. Last is the preset system on the left side of the standard header. These presets are stored in the registry. Read about preset management from the standard header here.

Oh, I had known all this stuff about setting my own presets, but I did not recognize that I can only choose those presets on top of the plugin window and not the factory VST2/3 presets in the Plug-in Manager!
But I got it now, thank's a lot scook!
