VST Plugins causing crashes

Anyone experiencing crashes when installing a plugin into a project ? Seems to be my Amplitube plugins, however they have all been in the same location since X1-X2, and have had no issues? I did a reinstall of X3, but no help. All settings were migrated from previous versions.
Maybe reinstall all of the plugins???

Have you checked for AmpliTube updates? There have been a few since X1/X2 IIRC. AmpliTube 3 is working fine here.

I'm using the older Amplitube Fender, Jimi Hendrix, XGear, Amplitube Live2, but they will load and run fine on X2 (still installed).

Did you reset and rescan the plugins?

I don't think X Gear is supported any more. The older plugs may run fine on X2, but remember X3 uses newer Windows components...maybe the updates address those? Generally. updates of that nature allow for compatibility with newer components but retain compatibility with older ones. No problems here at all with Amplitude 3 and X3, but I did do the latest updates. That could be the difference.

Thanks for the reply, Craig. I'll check for the updates, as that could well be the issue!

There is an option to do a 'Reset', which really should be done, followed by a full scan of all of your VST plugins, after installation of X3.

Here is a link to Sonar X3 information regarding this:

I highly recommend you review and give the above a shot, and then please post back with your results.
