VST Problem

Hello all.

I am trying the Melodyne demo, and it runs fine as a stand-alone, but I can't seem to get Sonar 8.5.3 to recognize it as a VST. I put it in the VST folder and scanned VST Plugs, but it doesn't show up.

What is the proper procedure for doing this?

Thanks.

It needs to be defined as a "Time based effect" in Plugin Manager.
I'm not 100% sure, though, that it will have an effect on it's visibility.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
