VST help

Is there a vst that creates an effect like the sound is circling your head? I want the sound not to just go from left to right and vice versa. I want it to actually sound for example starting from the your left going in front then to the right then to the back and back at the left going round and round you.

I want to apply this effect to my drum roll.

Hope I made myself clear.

A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me, I'm afraid of widths.

That would be tough to pull off without doing a surround mix... which would be my preference for accomplishing that. Panning automation combined with mid/side processing plug might be effective... beyond that I don't know how you'd pull off the 360 degree sound but I'm sure there must be something available that will simulate a surround effect in stereo.

You could check out PanMan by SoundToys. That might be of some help.
