VST3?.. thank you Cakewalk!

Nope, I do not have any VST3 effects, I do, however have an Motif sound engine in my S70xs..

The Motif is the market share leader in synth workstations Yamaha only releases VST3 editors so finally Yamaha users can seamlessly integrate these beasts into a Sonar project instead of working in Sonar AND in the standalone editor.

thanks Noel!

This and ARA are the TWO biggest benefits to this upgrade...

But I have no intention of paying $150 for them...

I'll wait till the next HALF OFF SALE...

I think it is to early yet to know what the biggest benefits to X3 will be; there has been no official word yet on what all has been fixed, added or changed.  One of the Bakers in another thread mentioned that at least 2 of the item in the Sweetwater Ad were not entirely correct and that the add does n't include many of the new features.  I just think it is too early to know what all has been done to X3.

What has been leaked, looks pretty descent to me.
