V-Studio 100 for $299?

Is this still a good deal:
Cakewalk V-Studio 100 for $299 at Sam Ash

Right now, I use Saffire Pro 24, a small Edirol mixer (M-10DX), and Alphatrack for DAW control. I was wondering if I could save some desk space with VS 100. Basically, what I'm trying to figure out is the AD/DA converter quality and preamp quality vs. Saffire's. Also, if it could be used as a mixer for my E-MU 1212m PCIe (which doesn't have its own headphone output). Is combining 2 audio interfaces like this risky?
