V-Studio Set up ?

Just got my VS-100 and upgraded to X1 stuio from HS7. When I go to add surface controller it allows the VS-100 to be selected however, under the inputs and outputs it just says "none" I do not have the option of selecting the VS-100 for either input or output? Is this a driver or software setting or issue?

The VS-100 likely is not setup as a Midi Device yet. Sonar can see it, but can't use it.

In X1, open Preferences (P) then under midi choose "devices".

Make sure "Control (VS-100)" is check marked for both input and output.
If you want to use the VS-100 Midi as well - check "Midi(VS-100)" at the same time.

Now when adding a control surface, you need to choose "Control (VS-100) for both in and Out". It should show up there now.
