V-Vocal pitch control via keyboard?

Is it possible to set the pitch of a note in V-Vocal via a MIDI keyboard? e.g., if I want a vocal to sing "do re mi", can I just hit C, D, and E on my keyboard instead of having to draw this manually with the interface?

I've searched high and low for this and am beginning to think it's not possible. But I've overlooked the obvious before.  :-/
