Venus and the boys are at it again. "FLUTTER"

This song has had some transition and ends up being one of my favorite ever.  From Dena's vocals to Gary Dugan's piano (and arrangement help) and Gary Reynold's acoustic guitars I am proud to be a part of this.
When I received the song I thought it was so beautiful I couldn't let it go.  It was one of 6 I received written by DenaPorrs and WillStratton.  I became obsessed with it and Dena and Will let me have some latitude to rewrite the bridge and work with Gary D. on a revised ending.  I could go on all day about the cooperation on this song by everyone involved.
It was an electric tune until we received Geere1's guitars and gdugan's piano.  Dena heard the prelim mix and said "that's all we need".  Will and I agreed 100%.  When you are working with artists like this, less is more.  So, it is now an acoustic tune and I love it.  I hope you all do too.  Thanks in advance for listening and commenting.  The song isn't mastered yet but I couldn't wait!:-)

Dena Porras (Venus)- Vocals
Gary Dugan-(gdugan)- Piano, mix
Gary Reynolds- (geere1)- Guitars

Listening on my Envy (excellent computer) speakers.

In the 1st minute only (2 or 3 places), there may be slight saturation issues on the lead vox during her loud-spikes (a problem I've been having in my crowded mix ... I'd notch her spikes slightly there)

2:20 middle is a great touch!

Guitars, actually, are my fav in this.  But all performances are exquisite, sensitive, and lovely to my crony ears.  Unfortunately, I was so raptured by the performances I didn't listen to a word of this.

10/10 for multi-cascading loveliness!!!  (I'll focus on the lyrics another day)  You guys are awesome!

Hey Pugster (that Porras woman makes me happy...)

This is lovely. Oh you scored Dugan on the piano! Nice! I was listening and said, I really like the keys, and scrolled back up :-)

Sounds great Warren, really nice, and a beautiful song to boot. really great job.

What a beautiful song!  Beautiful voice.  As Philip said, you may need to add compressor on her voice or what I usually do is to use v-vocal and adjust the dynamics by hand instead of relying on the compressor.

Very sweet and soft. The piano fills are excellent, wish I could play like that. And I am glad you left out drums, the arrangement it self has so much rythm.

wow totally awesome song. i would love to hear it recorded in oceanway with a $10000 guitar and a $100000 piano...this is serious songwriting, and the mix sounds great. just awesome all round and possibly one of the great CW songs. no bull.

Wow this is superb!! Fantastic song and just such excellent performances. Presented in such a beautiful mix.
There's only one thing I would change (just a nit pick / personal preference): The echoes around 2:25 were cool, but I think they would have been more effective if you went with the "big production" of the song. As it is now, it's very organic, as though you're just sitting there listening to an intimate moment with some great musicians. The echoes wouldn't be "natural" in that setting - or maybe they would sound better with a separate voice? Anyway - minor point - take it or leave it.

Great, great job to all involved!!!

    Hi Warren,

    Great tune and great performances.

    It's really a nice tune.

The esses in the vocal mix bugged me.  That's about it.

    Great job.
