Re: Versioning 'Revert' is broken -- but worked the next time

Good point. I was a bit reluctant to just start putting rare/specific issues in the general forums. I generally only get about 1/2 my crashes to get reproducible, but I want to at least report them as issues.
At least the fault reporter worked today when it crashed while I was having lunch. Left it stable, came back an ~2 hours later, CTD. I'm not quite sure how to be more specific about what conditions initiated the CTD. I sent the mini-dmp. If I had to speculate, I'd guess that maybe the autosave interfered with something? But I'm not really interesting in debugging these things. I'm just reporting my experiences and inconsistencies as I find them.
I think I've sorted out the drum map concern, but that's another topic and I haven't opened a thread for it. I did update this thread to report that the verify now does appear to be working. It did not do this yesterday, so there may be some initialization, first time use thing. I don't know and am not even sure how to reproduce it. Seemed like a problem to me. I did play with one of the save version files that didn't show up in the File/Revert, but just to see if I could recover a 'lost clip'. I was just getting started, so started over rather than attempt to debug/reproduce it. Not my job, and its distracting enough sending FReports/Forum posts/web searches/help searches, etc.
I really like the product and am trying to help it improve. While not a particularly sophisticated user, I am not a novice either.
I'm open to either path, but only occasionally even attempt to reproduce really odd problems. I guessed that this forum would be better for observations of odd things. Maybe a 'Diagnostic/Weird Things' forum would work better to at least try a collect the odd reports of problems until some patterns turn up. The File/Revert not showing the files is odd, and a problem I had just yesterday. Losing files is not trivial which is why I was actually confirming that it worked and more importantly that I knew how to use it.
If not, I'll just use this forum for the dead-on reproducible stuff, but I suspect that would just be more repeats of stuff 'already on the list'.
So, should these 'observations' go into the general forum? (I do try to put questions/observations there for more general things with hopes of a helpful pointer.) This is my forum of lost causes.
