Very minor color conundrum....

I swear to Cthulu I have tried to find this one color option and have failed...!
Just trying to change the grey color box underneath/behind the mute/solo/rec buttons
in the track view! I fancy a little brighter color there.
Other than that, I do believe the 8 hours of importing reg. entries and customizing
color elements have resulted in a right tasty and eye-friendly surface.
...Except for the durn dim solo etc buttons...
Grrrrr.....Anyone?
That's It Sonar! Your Sacked! (..never!)

Cthulhu? What are you, Sumerian? Or just an H.P. Lovecraft fan?
I really wish CW would provide a visual guide to the color options. How hard could it be?

In SONAR 5, you probably want to look at "Track View Track Header Tint". In SONAR 6, there is no Track Header, so you'll want to look at "Track View Strip Background". You'll also want to adjust the "Active Track" and "Selected Track" options.

OTOH, if it's the MSR button background color you're trying to change, that's not possible, since the button is a bitmap.

Tom, I hate to be a nuisance and I know I probably won't get a reply... but are there any thoughts of making Sonar skinnable in the future.... like a bitmap edit feature?

Sorry, I'm not in a position to comment on potential future features. We do listen to customers and try our best to provide the most often requested features.

I can point out some of the features in SONAR 6 that make the UI pretty highly customizable even today ...

    Custom colors
    Custom menus
    Custom toolbars
    Custom tabs
    Reorderable track controls

not to mention old standards like ...
    Floating views
    Docked views
    Key Bindings
    Layouts

    HTH

Yep, I don't argue that one. I'm personally very happy with what you folks have done. I think it looks spectacular all around and I'm very satisfied with the customizations you've implemented. I think it's fun when users get to "re-skin" things because I love to see what people come up with... it was pure curiosity, I wasn't sure if it would even be possible with the architecture of Sonar as it is today.

Thanks for the reply on that!
