Nothing like a bit of Scottytunes fiddling to put a smile on my face.

I subbed on bass for my Dad's friends band doing a polka gig one night.  Did that and went down and played a gig in Chicago with our band including Ted Nugent.  I will always have a fond place for polka in my heart.  This really brings back memories even if there's nothing about a barrell in the song!  Same as Frank, as a vet and a fan, and someone who is always for a good memory jogger, THANKS!!!!

Very nice Scotty , as a Viet Nam Vet I also thankyou !

By the way now that I'm here , would you have any free time for any extra song projects ?
I have been working on my newest song I think you might be interested in , it has lots of room for some lead playing .
If interested slap a PM on me and we'll start there , very nice song for all the vet's in our country .

    Cheers ! Radio

    James,
Thank you and you're welcome. My band played for a veterans' day dinner dance last night and there was a POW from WWII there who gave an hour and a half long talk and sold some books he had written about his experiences. His stories were interesting and bone-chilling. As for the collab thing...I'll need a few more months on that...quite burried at the present time but thanks for thinking of me. GuitarPrima might be interested. I think he is a great guitarist.

go ahead and post it and if he interested in adding guitar to this new song
I have been working on for a week now I'll send it to him .

    Hi, Scotty,

This is absolutely wonderful! Unique intro, but then a very traditional sounding arrangement, and spectacular fiddling, as always. buddy.

Excellent piece of true Americana, my friend!

It started out so serious..... and then.... that classic Scotty style broke out.

Very fine..... The change up reminded me of the Yellow Rose of Texas a bit.

A fun tune to listen to.

This is freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!  You should hire that Fiddle player full time Scotty!!!   I'm just kidding man, I like your music best when you are playing fiddle or guitar in it, although I know you can play it all.

Just freaking AWESOME!!!!! No crits here, everything you do sounds great to me, if I have had any crits pay them no mind because sometimes I will listen to a certain type of music for hours and when I hear something else it sounds off because of that very reason, I guess I need to mention that more.

    AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Bobby

Wow, Bobby! This one seems to have struck a chord with you! Thank you for your kind words, although crits are fine too so don't hesitate to post them if you've got 'em. Have a super weekend!

    Bobby,
I feel the same way about the anticipation that the music builds within us. That is why I like writing stuff with intros like this. Thanks again for listening and for sharing your view points.
