I like it. I have played some with a GT-001 guitar to MIDI function and RapPro ... The GT worked just well enough for me to add the Fishman Tripleplay to my GAS list. The dude in this vid proves how well the FTP works AND how good RapPro can sound.

The guitar is somewhat more of a 'tool' for this - he could could even use a PaperJamz ;). Interface, FX/looper, Synths and, of course, the player/composer are more important. Interfaces (as above): Fishman Triple Play Livid Guitar Wing Synth: Cakewalk Rapture Pro His Youtube page show he uses an Axe FX 2 for guitar tone ... but I don't think that's what's used here(?).

I watched this video. I've seen the same guy do some amazing stuff with his setup using other synths. Perhaps it's because the recording was done off the monitors instead of the board but the whole thing sounded like a muddy mess. Honestly, it was hard to watch all the way through, I wanted it to sound so much better. My biggest take away from watching the video was don't use Rapture Pro for that.
