Video editing with the VS

I am considering adding video editing to my setup and I'm really wondering if anyone here is using the video function on the console. Is there any software compatible with it?

Roland recommend using the Edirol DV-7 but I can't find any documentation on this.  Don't know where to get it either. But most important, is there any benefit using this device over a dedicted video editing software? I'm afraid of hardware limitation and want to invest money in a "safe" solution but would also like to maximize the VS potential.

Thanks to share your knowledge!

Hiya Dyo... I went and bought a Corel product for video editing and it does pretty much all that's required for general use. Decided to keep video well away from Sonar.... I often spend enough time chasing other stuff that doesn't involve getting a result to start playing around with video inside of Sonar.
