Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 and Automation Parameter

Hi all
 
Is there anyone who can tell me how to record fader movements in Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 for a signal from an audio track after it has been sent to VEPRO with VE PRO AUDIO INPUT?

I can not understand how to proceed in spite of having read the manual on page 47 that does not explain almost anything!?

I do not use Sonar as a sequencer but Cubase 5, but I think that this is not important for this problem.... is there someone who uses VE PRO 5 and who can help me to understand?
