Interesting. I wouldn't count on dual platform SONAR though. Z3TA and Dimension Pro are dual platform now. I'd imagine it would be adding more instruments to that list and/or updating those instruments in the future. As for mobile devices, not sure.. I know there are wi fi controllers or something like that.. Maybe it's better integration for these?..

Why expand beyond what is already here when there are already problems with the platform its on? I think they should focus on making Sonar the best DAW possible for everyone and not just the few people with the right computer specs and outboard hardware. X1 is a great concept but since trying other stuff (that in some ways I do like as much) I am finding more and more problems with basic stuff in Sonar. Like how audio drops from my audio interface when I open Sonar, the preferences menu any plug in or save a preference setting. Sure they come right back up but those pops and clicks are annoying and cut off my video software when I am doing screen recordings for my Production Vlog. I won't even get into rewire. I think if the glitches/bugs here and there were fixed and it worked really well on everyone's computer 99% of the time Sonar would be the choice on the PC platform. At that point then its a good idea to take on OSX

a dedicated Sonar remote control app for ipad and android would be nice... i use ac7 (ipad) and touchdaw (android) and they are both a bit erratic... very handy for mixing from the sofa and transprt control from the stage piano.
