View more than one track.

I was upstairs in my house and found music creator 2002. I would like to know if you can View more than one track. I need this if I am going to add cords to a song.

I'm all over the web. I don't know much about MC2... I would suspect that you can. A buddy of mine has it on his lappy, and if I recall correctly , it shows multiple tracks in the console & track view..... it also depends on how the tracks are sized..... you should be able to grab the bottom of the tracks and drag it up or down to resize the track.

Did you start with only one track? Click Insert and put in another (or more) track(s). Or right-click in the gray area below the track and select Add Track, I think.
Click the M on your computer keyboard. In other MC versions, that brings up the Track Manager, allowing you to show or hide tracks as needed.

Yeah... when you start a project, if you click "NORMAL" as the preset it adds 2 tracks ( in MC4) ...one audio & one midi

If you look, there should be other starting presets. I'm not 100% sure because I don't have MC2.

But just click INSERT> Audio (or) MIDI track to add more if that's the problem.

Not that. I mean view two or more tracks in the staff view.

    Okay, that's different.
Open the staff view of a MIDI track you want to use. At the top there's an icon with an up arrow and a down arrow. That's the Pick Tracks icon. Click it then select more than 1 track by holding down the computer keyboard's Ctrl key.
If MC 2002 can do that.

I believe you can only view one track at a time. Staff view is limited. MC is not a full fledged notation program, but give basic notation to help in music creation. If you need a fancy notation program there a several out there.

........... it is totally possible to view multiple tracks in Staff view. I do it all the time, mostly by mistake.

Be sure they are MIDI tracks..... audio doesn't show up in that view.

I think you can also highlight the tracks in the track view and then click staff view and it loads all the highlighted tracks..... that happens to me from time to time as I'm working in track and switch to staff with several tracks highlighted.
