Viewing the selection timespan

I have no idea how to view the timespan of whatever selection I've made in the timeline. Is there a way??

You may need to have the Inspector showing in the Control Bar. This is not the Track Inspector.

There is also the Selection module in the Control Bar.

Yes, but you need to do math in your head to figure it out. I am super lazy, and the info is in the software so when I'm working quick in front of a client I don't want to do math haha

Sonar can't do it. It is a huge gaping hole in Sonar's feature set. Is there any other DAW that doesn't do this? A few of us have been requesting it for years but it never makes it in. I suggest you make a feature request for it: http://www.cakewalk.com/s...ct/featurerequest.aspx

Know what'd be sweet... a tiny little tooltip in the middle of the timeline selection (between start/end points) that has the timespan. Easy to see, and possibly configurable to any time format (seconds, beats/measures, etc).
