Viral Infection Found on Cakewalk Pyro 5

I've been using Pyro 5 for several years.  I recently installed some new antivirus software and it found this residing in the Cakewalk file:

PyroFile.dll

It identified the infection as  Backdoor.Win32.Inject!IK and assessed a risk level of high and quarantined it.  Of course, the program won't run without this file.

My question is:  Why is this malware on the disk and how can I get the benefit of this product (which I paid for) without having my system infected?

it probably what's known as a "false positive" (if it is 100% a cakewalk shipped file) , basically there is code in virus scanners that might be triggered by something in project 5.

again if your talking about YOUR pc, then yer it could be infected.. but thats from being on the net etc.
