RME Fireface 400/800 is rockin' on Vista. Edirol UM3ex MIDI interface is rockin', too. Universal Audio UAD-1 has Preview Release, and their X64 drivers are working on Vista via the F8 option.

not alesis yet, unfortunately (for me)

Unfortunately the Photon is not yet Vista or 64 bit Windows compatible. We strive to make all of our products compatible with as many operating systems as possible. As with any major OS upgrade, Microsoft's Windows Vista and the 64 bit platform presents its own set of challenges for users and manufacturers. We are working diligently to make all products Windows Vista compatible and compliant.

Hey Does anyone know if the drivers for Vista 64 will work with XP Pro 64?
Seems like everyone has skipped over XP Pro 64 and moved right on to Vista.

I have not upgraded yet and I am not planing to soon.

I have a Radium 61 and they have no USB drivers. I run it with the midi input of my tascam 122, only work around I could come up with.

Lynx unofficial Vista-compatible 64-bit drivers have been available for a while but they are currently "unsigned" which means you have to hit F8 on bootup to use them in Vista x64, but they work fine. The official *signed* drivers are going to be released imminently any day now. They are in final beta testing for both 64-bit and 32-bit Vista.

Focusrite Saffire PRO 26i/o now has Vista driver: Get it here
The help text (when you float the cursor over the download link) says "Compatible with Windows XP 64bit OS"

They also have the same for Saffire PRO 10i/o, Saffire, and SaffireLE.

EMU (http://www.emu.com/support/vista.asp) has updated their Vista beta date...
It's been moved from mid-April, which of course has already passed, to mid-May.

I'm beginning to see why people have (in the past anyway) had issues with their driver development.

That's just pathetic, and I have two 1616Ms and Proteus X2 that uses them as a dongle on the respective machines.
    Ah well... going on ebay.
Four months after OS release before getting beta drivers after a solid year before that of Vista betas and release candidates tells me all I ever need to know about EMU in the future.

Figured I'd post this update in case anyone is thinking of getting an EMU card for a new machine that has Vista on it.
    No, no... don't do that.

    Take care,

EMU has once again bumped their driver beta release by another 30 days...
    Mid-April... Mid-May... Mid-June...

No apologies... just blame, and excuses.
Can't believe I actually defended those guys. Starting to remind me of Steinberg...

    Bummer.

Anyone want a 1616M (actually, I have two of them) and/or Proteus X2?
