Visual of loaded effects in the pro channel without the need to open.

I think this would be a nice feature to have. The ability to immediately see what effects you have and the order. Exactly like the effects bin only somehow dedicated to the PC. One possibility might be to highlight it in another color.
I am constantly opening the PC to look at what's there on large mixes. The open/collapse feature on PC is genius for when you want to open and adjust the plugs, but when it's closed you're blind again.

One other possible option though not as efficient...a mouse hover spot. This still would open the point but leave you blind until it opens. A hover point would be faster than clicking every single channel every single time. This feature could be selected/deselected.

Select a track and you can see the Pro Channel in the Inspector. Without having to open the ProChannel.

I agree Mike that selecting the PC in inspector is a great way to look at each track individually and only requires a click on each track. I am thinking more along the lines of a very fast way to see multiple track setups in the console view since this is the primary mixing space. If I could either hover over it and see the track layout immediately or see whats in the PC in a bin with the vsts, then I would save time. Even changing the color of the PC plug ins and including them in the same bin as the others would let the user know immediately whats in each channel. For those mixes with over 24 tracks this would be very useful. It would avoid needing the inspector in another window.
The solution so far has been to click each track individually.

I'm not sure how the bakers would implement something like this.    But if they did, I'd use it.

Ideally, the FX Bin's display would include PC modules, shown in a different colour from the regular effects. One of the advantages of this would be a visual indication of whether the PC was set as pre or post.

How about get rid of pro channel entirely? I cannot imagine that if given the choice I would say " please give me a separate area(mostly hidden) that duplicates the fx bin". It is such a work flow killer to me I just don't use it. A shame,  some of the plug ins are probably good.

I think the original idea was centered more around the Pro Channel than a separate vst bin. Vst can  be put into the Pro Channel with a wrapper I think ( correct me if I'm wrong) Cakewalk put a lot of thought into a main fx/plug in area in PC. It appears they concentrated mainly on the fine detail of each channel with respect to visual and adjusting those plug-ins leaving vst as secondary. The answer was a collapsible channel area that is great for detail but not so great for a quick glance. Try hand clicking the PC through even 24 channels independently back and forth and you start to get the idea. Add to this the fact that the user needs to examine two independent areas in each channel. The vst bin is simple and elegant. The same could be done with the Pro Channel.

The plug ins in PC are good...some of the best and if you have Pro Channel loaded up with the additional plugs they offer  you really don't need much else, but most of us want to use both. I think more people who already have many plug-ins would use Pro Channel more often if they could simply see everything in a bin for those cursory mix views. I agree  that it's a workflow killer to constantly need to look at two areas to see what your plugs are doing.

Someone will probably mention that you can open multiple Pro Channels. I like it on smaller mixes but too much screen real estate is taken in larger mixes with multiple PC open.

Ok, how about the eq,channel tools etc are always visible on all channels? Maybe just some little boxes that light up or something. When Cake started including other vsts and even reverbs they lost me on the usefulness. It has always seemed more  a marketing tool to me.

We already have a small eq box just as you say that shows on channels if you don't make them overly narrow. This does help some in larger mixes. The only difficulty I see with that idea of doing this with everything is there isn't room for all of the boxes if you show some kind of a minimized graphic.
In my thinking the idea isn't to adjust, but to have a view to identify both the PC plug and its place in the chain.Drag moves would be nice because then you could move things around without opening each channel.
