Vocal editing for HipHop tracks with explicit language in 8.5.3

I already know how to edit foul language with the reverse and silent edit effects in 8.5.3. I know I can add many different sounds and instruments of my choice for these edited spots as well. Echo words before the certain word(s) to fill in the gap I also can do as well. What I am looking for to learn or find information, is how do I get a certain word to slow down as if you are playing a record player and stopping it on these words? A DJ scratched out type effect. Is there a plugin that can help with this? or is this an edit I need to just get my hands dirty and play around with plugins I got?

You can hear what I am talking about in HipHop songs on main stream radio like Drake, Young Money and etc...

I am not sure if there is a "certain" plugin or program I need or within Sonar 8.5.3, or a virtual record player/scratcher in another DAW to work on this type of editing?? Any help to get me in the right direction would be great, thanks!!!

No problem. Also, to record the changes it makes in a track you have to automate them (and bounce to another track if you want to make the changes permanent). Put it in the FX bin of an audio track, adjust the settings to where you want them, then Right Click TapeStop and click Write Enable Parameters to select which ones you want recorded. I'd start with Enable All and then disable ones if you need to.

The read enable parameters are all enabled by default. You can always change those if one isn't working out well for you.
