Vocal vst/sample library
Anyone have a suggestion for software that provides simple background vocals doing oohs and aahs and wooos, etc. I am not looking for cinematic bombast. Nor am I looking for sung phrases. I am more interested in something that sounds like 3 women singing background on a pop record. I'll appreciate--and investigate--any suggestions. Thanks.

If you have Miroslav, or East West Orchestra, they both have choirs... If you don't mind using 3 tracks to get there I highly recommend Clara for Kontakt if you you have Kontakt...and it's FREE http://vstbuzz.com/freebies/claras-vocal/

Try Realitone. I can't post links at the moment for some reason probably because I had to reset my login. Just add dot com to Realitone hope that helps.

I would support Mike Green, of Realivox... but not the link Larry provided... Mike's latest creation, "Blue" is amazing... and only $129... he is an active developer, has responded to me and others I know personally and immediately...and is actively plowing more "vowels/consenents/combos" into his creation as he gets the money from sales... Blue does all the ooooos and ahhhhhs you can imagine and much more. It is quite lovely. Mike has hadded several new vowels and combination utterances since I bought it... he's a real guy, not a "company" or "corporation" http://realitone.com/blue/. Just listen to the soundclouds and the walkthru... and remember it is an actively evolving library... which will grow with you as you are entitled to updates as long as you live. It runs on both Kontakt and Kontakt free... I own all the EWQL libraries... their choirs are nice but a thousand years old and the "word builder" system sucks...I also have several 8dio choirs... Meh... Enjoy your search...

Another +1 for Blue - while somewhat limited in consonant + vowel combinations it is an ongoing project as Vastman stated. And it does sound good! Same goes for Clara - that is a great freebie. Another one is "Clare Solo" from Ivy Audio: http://ivyaudio.com/Clare-Solo I've downloaded it but haven't used it yet, but it seems like another good option.

Thanks to all for the helpful suggestions. It looks like Realitone Ladies (the lite version) is just what the doctor ordered. The full version is pretty amazing.
