Volume slider works on one track but not others?

Working on a MIDI song, I find that the volume slider works on the drum track, but not on the others.  Any idea what's wrong?

DAW: Cakewalk by Bandlab (latest version) - x64
VST: Roland Sound Canvas VA
Hardware: Roland MC50mkII Sequencer; Yamaha DGX-660 keyboard; Steinberg UR-44 Interface
OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

    What volume slider? You're not talking about MIDI tracks slider?
    The volume for soft synths is set by the slider of the audio output track.

    Also.... be sure to check that you don't have volume envelopes in the other tracks.  Once you place a volume envelope in a track, trying to move the slider in console view doesn't work.  Adjustments are then required to be made to the envelope itself.
