I think I'll have to leave that to voters who actually know enough other DAWs well enough to have a valid opinion... though I imagine most do not.

So the results will be more a function of the relative size of the user base for various DAWs, and how effective their respective get-out-the-vote efforts are.

"I think I'll have to leave that to voters who actually know enough other DAWs well enough to have a valid opinion"

That's a good point...how many people who primarily use Acid or Reason to make music have a good working knowlege of all the other DAW programs listed (though i'm sure there are some, er, many, and i don't want to start a flame war, especially directed against me).

I usually enjoy these Radar 'Best Of' lists, but this one seems largely apples and oranges.

10+ votes from me and we're up to 4.51%

Actually, if you attempt to vote multiple times, you'll see the below message right above the results:

'Thank you, we have already counted your vote.'

So I think its safe to assume that additional votes from the same machine are not actually being counted.

So it says in the link that a year ago Musicradar.com readers CROWNED a harvesting machine the best DAW in the world today.  Just some random thoughts:
    (1)  Wouldn't a site with RADAR in its name be biased against any form of SONAR?
    (2) Isn't a crown some sort of yesteryear version of a tin foil hat?  I mean, after all, the people that wore them claimed that they were put in their lofty positions by God.
    (3)  Which counts more: popular votes or the electoral college?   Since they just had a vote last year, was that just the primary?
    (4) How did they know last year what would be the best DAW today?  Just sayin'
    (5)  I'm wondering if this is just a way for musicradar.com to get people to spam their website in other forums.  Naw, forum readers wouldn't be that gullible.
