So it's a licensed Elephant and no demo?

Demos often have this kind of limitations.

And if running Vista or W7 it might have to do with running Sonar as administrator that makes license check fail. Some plugins need admin rights to do that and thereby run in demo mode.

Demo.  Check your registration and all will be good.  One of the best limiters out there, even without considering the price.

boost11 compared to elephant is like comparing a mud wrestler with a nun (same goes for it and fabfilters pro-c - another awesome limiter).

edit:  forgot to mention that elephant and pro-c are considered by nearly everyone (who knows what they're talking about) to be the best and that one is not necessarily better than the other, but only better according to one's personal preference (i would choose pro-c if i "had" to).

True, but if I remember correctly, Boost11 was also made by Voxengo as well for Cakewalk, so maybe there's some good parts in Boost11 too.

hmmm, i've never tried out that limiter.  Is it pretty 'even' and transparent?

    To MY ears, it's both.

But like all limiters, the less you push it, the more transparent it will be

right.  also i've read that a lot of people think ik's 670 comp is the best plug in the t-racks bundle.  i might just have to get it AND the limiter (it's on sale for 39 bucs which is a lot better than elephant and pro-c's price).

I took advantage of a bulk discount about 18 months ago and picked TEN T-Racks plugs for the insane price of about £150 (convert as necessary)

i lose sometimes the sound of the guitar for like 1-2 sec and it come back. same if i use boost11 on bus track ..

Am I reading this right?  The sound also drops out when you're using Boost 11 also? If so then the problem is something different.

OP did you work this out, is Elephant registered?
