Voxengo Gliss

How are people liking the latest version of Gliss? I see the interface changed - is that a good thing?

Are you talking about version 3 versus version 2? I like the version 3 UI better due to the resizability and color options, and the ability to name each instance. But I prefer version 2's UI for overlaying multiple track spectra for comparison. Consequently, I never stopped using version 2. In fact, since I adopted FabFilter's Pro-Q as my go-to track EQ, I hardly touch GlissEQ version 3 anymore - but I still use version 2 when I want to overlay spectra.

Now that I think about the UI differences, that reminds me: I don't think I ever did figure out where the "Slope" option went to.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I keep hearing about Pro-Q and from reading about it on their website - I'm tempted, but the price is going to keep me away for a while.

I'm still on Gliss 2.91 and looking at the upgrade. I have two of the suites from voxengo and now I'm a version behind on a lot of their plugs.

EDIT button lower right. Slope defaults to 4.5, which is weird...

    Kind of on topic -

I'm re-exploring some of those voxengo plugs - reading through the manuals again. Some hidden attributes that I need to check out more. It appears that Curve Eq has ways to use it for some freq compression that I forgot about.
