Voxengo Stereo Touch sticks the meters on mixer and buses

Hi

I have sonar 8.5.3 and when i insert the free voxengo stereo touch on a track or bus
i get like a ghost signal that you cant hear but you see the meters like at -6db stuck

if you insert on a channel... you can see the meters peg on that channel and on any sub bus that channel is routed to...

just that plugin makes that....
( the only one i use from voxengo... ) well used to use.. as now i dont like that behaviour
as i cant monitor the levels ok with the meters pegged...

and as soon i remove the plug al went back to normal..

any clues ?

    I haven't used voxengo's stereo in many years mainly because I didn't like the way it sounded.  for a long time I used Pacifica's Stereo tool (I forget now what it was called and I think I even still have it on my system).  it was really useful, but after I got 8.5 I started using Channel Tools - or I thought it was 8.5 that we got channel tools, wasn't it?  channel tools is an EXCELLENT stereo tool.

    can channel tool generate a pseudo stereo signal from a mono one ?
    thats what voxengo does

    thats the beauty  of Stereo Touch from voxengo... what a pity makes that bad behaviour on sonar... 8.5.3

    I have Sonar 8.5.3 SE and Voxengo StereoTouch but I've never really used it before. I put it on an audio track with a send to a bus with a compressor on it and I don't have any problems with it at all and am unable to duplicate your problem with it. Which version of StereoTouch are you using? Have you changed any of the VST plugin properties for it? Which options, if any, are different then the ones in my Stereo Touch VST plugin properties?
