What version of Sonar do you have? I believe that Vsamp came with Sonar 3.

I don't believe anyone is keeping the FAQ up to date. The user who started it, sadly, seems to no longer be a member of the forum (At least, I haven't seen him post for a long time).

Vsampler is available from Maz Sound. I upgraded from the version that came with Sonar 3, which didn't cost too much at the time, and was worth it for the added functionality (Of course, I didn't have then some of the synths/samplers I have now).
I don't even see an upgrade price anymore, and for the price they list you're better off with Dimension Pro--of course, it depends what formats you have to load.

The current upgrade from Sonar 3 Vsampler, which is version 3.0 DXIi, will cost you $61.74 US.

The full price with out the Sonar 3 upgrade will cost $187.74 US.

VSampler will do more than Dimension Pro, but it's harder to work with Vsampler than Dimension Pro. I would suggest Dim Pro if you don't already own Vsampler. But if you won Vsampler, the 61.74 is a pretty good deal to upgrade to from DXI to VST and Standalone functionality, plus another goodies and 1 gig of samples you can download as a bonus.

I stopped using VSampler for a while because other software was available. I re-installed and upgraded my Sonar 3 version of Vsampler to the 3.5 version and it was good to have it back. I have downloaded all sorts of other sample formats to use with VSampler and they work great.

    Peace
