V-studio 100. Few questions about Pro Tools and Foobar.

Hello!
Could somebody help me please. Is v-studio 100 works with Pro Tools via mackie control protocol? I've recently started to work in Pro Tools 12 HD and it seems there is no chance to use the v-100's features with it. I select HUI in settings, but still receive a massage 'Pro tools have troubles with some HUI devices, please check it or disable them' - or something like that. Running PT with the admins rights (win7 x64) doesn't help. Any suggestions?
And the second question about Foobar2000. I try to set it up for bypassing the windows mixer (have read about better sound quality). Do I need to install foo_out_asio component or just set up V-1,2 out in the playback settings? With V-out I see Foobar in the windows mixer during playback. Seems a signal is not going directly to v-100 device... While trying to install foo_out_asio component I received lags:) Foobar just crashed up (of course it can be just my own lags, of my system or my Foobar).
