W10: wifi sense is auto enabled: really bad idea.

WiFi Sense will automatically connect you to detected crowdsourced WiFi networks, acquire network information and provide “additional info” to networks that require it (it’s not clear exactly what constitutes additional info), and can be used to automatically share your WiFi password with your contacts on Facebook, Skype, and Outlook.

Someone splain to me how this in any way improves security.

    Turn it off..
Says it's an idea to add a full stop at the end of the router name.
However that directly conflicts with putting _nomap to get rid of google location services.

It is a bad idea if only because it makes it easier for someone who is not paying attention to screw up and open his networks inadvertently. Even with sensing turned on, you still have to authorize each specific network, but given the stupid things people do, there should probably be a big warning window popup. Just the fact that this foolishness can be easily automated will make unsophisticated users think it is safe and usual. Convenience always trumps security in consumer computing.
