W43 Noise Reduction Plugin

Works or not? 
 
This is on sale at this time and I sure could use a different tool to remove unwanted noise in a track.  More specifically, amplifier hum in the trailing tail of a track or clip.  The noise reduction in Sound Forge wasn't touching it for some reason so I had to do some creative cutting, splicing and adding a trailing reverb tail to the clip.  These were tracks that were sent to me so there wasn't any do-overs.
 
If someone can answer me positively then I will download the demo and have a go at it.

    Dave, if you decide to go an and demo it, let us know what you think. Else I might give it a try, but it most likely won't happen before we're back home next week or even later.


    FWIW though, I was thinking of using it on voiceovers and such. I'm not sure it'd do good for more "surgical" stuff like hum on a guitar track...
