W8 32 or W8 64?

After the hassles with W8 Pro 32 bit and Microsoft Support not wanting to answer it, or support it -- I filed a complaint with the State Attorney General -- in the end, I decided to redo both machines to W8 Pro 64 bit ... and voila ... no issues and everything went fine and faster!
 
Nine hours on the phone, 3 techs and the last one wanted me to flash the Bios ... for what was likely to be a Name Resolution issue on the Windows Code, since it was obvious that something was interfering on it, as we could see things just fine with the IP address! That last tech did it for me -- I was mad ... that he was blaming the Bios and not understanding the issues! I talked to my old friend Guru and he said ... I haven't used a 32 bit anything in 15 years ... it's not even an option ... !!!
 
Suggestion! -- don't use anymore 32 bit garbage from Microsoft. I had not realized that the W7 version I have on the other machine is also the Pro 64 bit version, which is now my main Music machine for the VST's and such. Main benefit? No memory restrictions like the 32bit crapper ... seems nuts to have 16G of Memory and the computer can barely use 3 of them! Or a video card that has the ability and Windows is cutting it down to nothing and hurt a game, or the music!
 
My last machine is Windows XP-Pro, and I will likely update that to W8-Pro 64 bit in the next couple of months.
 
NOTE: Do remember that Microsoft is forcing you to sign up to Windows Live, so you can become a part of their Cloud! You just about have no choice on the matter and if you opt for a "Local" account, they can not guarantee that the network and other settings will work!
