WARNING! NOT Your Ordinary Gospel Song! "Because He Lives (Funky)"
A few months back, a friend asked me to arrange some gospel music and record it for him. He plays "gospel clarinet". That's something you (I) don't hear every day! He really wanted the tune to be like a Standard- organ, bass, drums, and a little guitar. I said put something on the CD the kids might like. I think Shawn got this right. It sounds very Dixieland to me. You gotta like this, it's good time Gospel. It arranged very well, and all the performances are very good. Kudos to you, Tony!

Hey thanks guys. LOL- Upon taking another listen myself, it seems that X2 has taken this X1 song and shifted one of the tracks to the right (later in time) about 4 measures... Luckily, it's the "Dancing Flutes" Z3ta patch track which is really more of a texture than a tone, so it doesn't really stick out.

I liked this. The backing had some interesting sounds and they came in at the right times to keep interest.
The real clarinet made it though.
Thought the keys at 1:40 r so jumped out a little to much and pierced a tad.
Its certainly different and they aint nothing wrong with that!

This is definitely the most original arrangement of this song I've ever heard and probably ever will hear. Fantastic playing and the mix sounds great! :)
